A Bold Black-and-Orange Halloween Skull Fabric Collection

For me, orange against a deep, inky black is pure nostalgia. It's the color of jack-o'-lanterns glowing on a porch step, of candy wrappers and paper decorations and every October the 31st I can remember from my childhood.

So after the ghosts of Happy Haunting, I wanted somewhere quirkier. Spooky, but not scary. Skulls felt right for that. And the trick to keeping them fun instead of frightful turned out to be all those oranges: warm, glowing, a whole range of them, so the collection stays spooktacular rather than sinister.

Meet Spooktacular: hand-drawn skulls, vintage-feel geometrics, and three oranges doing all the work between them. Skulls to set the mood, blenders to hold it all together.

Hand-Drawn Skulls with Eyeballs Fabric: The eyeballs are the whole trick. Without them these would just be skulls; with them, each one peers out of the fabric looking more mischievous than macabre. Three of the four colorways keep the same light gray skull and just move the ground under it — black, charcoal gray, burnt orange — so pick the ground and the skull stays put. The fourth turns the skull charcoal gray on black for something moodier.

Hand-Drawn Tossed Skulls Fabric: The hero's skull with the eyeballs left off, tossed loose across the ground — the everyday coordinate that goes with everything. Reach for it when you want the skull motif to read as a texture rather than a statement. Six colorways — the eyeball print's four, plus burnt orange skulls on black and black skulls on charcoal gray at either end of the range.

XL Hand-Drawn Tossed Skulls Fabric: The tossed skulls again, scaled way up. Big, bold, and made for the projects where a small scatter would get lost — think throws, tote panels, and backing. Same six colorways as the regular size, just supersized.

Spooktacular Halloween Typography Fabric:Because every Halloween collection deserves a good word print. Bold phrases of spooktacular, all hallows eve, spooky season, and fright night cross the fabric — a text coordinate that ties the whole story together. Nine colorways in three groups: one multicolor orange text on black, four in black text on deep rust, burnt orange, tangerine orange, or charcoal gray, and four tonals for when you want the words to chant quietly in the background.
