Gilded Autumn — A Golden, Jewel-Tone Fall Fabric Collection
I walked past my young sapling oak tree last week and stopped in my tracks — acorns are coming in, small and green and easy to miss if you're not looking. But I saw them, and just like that, my mind was three months ahead, already thinking about fall. The kind of fall that settles in around a table at dusk, everyone gathered, firelight on a cool night catching on things and making them richer. That's the feeling I wanted this collection to hold onto: moody and deeply cozy.
I can't point to why dark chocolate brown and moody jewel tones make me think of fall & Thanksgiving … but all traced in that warm gold linework, it just feels like that kind of firelight gathering to me. Grounded. Rich. Alive.
Gilded Autumn is a fall fabric collection built around hand-drawn linework in gold on a set of deep, moody jewel tones — burgundy, dark forest green, dark teal, dark plum, and dark chocolate brown. Every print in the collection shares that same palette, so pieces mix and match easily, whether you're piecing a full quilt or reaching for a single accent fabric.
Hand-Drawn Acorn & Oak Leaf Damask Fabric: Nothing quite says fall like acorns & leaves. This pattern is the heart of the collection — a damask of hand-drawn oak leaves and acorns, all in gold linework on a dark chocolate brown ground. The leaves and acorns themselves are filled in burgundy, dark forest green, dark teal, dark plum, and dark chocolate brown — that last one lets the whole motif recede into a soft, tonal gold-on-brown, which might be my favorite of the five.
Extra-Large Hand-Drawn Acorn & Oak Leaf Damask Fabric: For when you need that extra-large scale, like a quilt backing, upholstery, or even wallpaper.
Hand-Drawn Leaves Fabric: A mixed tumble of oak, maple, and birch leaves — the kind you'd actually find scattered on a fall walk, not just one tidy leaf shape repeated. Same gold-on-dark-chocolate-brown treatment as the damask, with the leaves themselves filled in burgundy, dark forest green, dark teal, dark plum, or dark chocolate brown.
Extra-Large Hand-Drawn Leaves Fabric: Because sometimes you just want a larger scale for a quilt-backing, upholstery, or even wallpaper.
Tossed Acorns Fabric: The small print that carries the collection's whole idea in miniature — small gold hand-drawn acorns, tossed at random, on a solid ground in each of the five colorways: burgundy, dark forest green, dark teal, dark plum, and dark chocolate brown. Easy to reach for anywhere you want a quieter, more textural touch of the palette.
Block Print Pumpkins Fabric: A little block-print-style pumpkin, gold on a solid ground, in the same five colorways as the tossed acorns. Simple, graphic, and a nice change of texture next to the more detailed leaf and damask prints.
Abstract Leopard Print Fabric: The wild card of the collection — hand-drawn, abstract leopard spots, gold on a solid ground in burgundy, dark forest green, dark teal, dark plum, and dark chocolate brown. It reads more art-deco jewel tone than safari, and it's sure to be a favorite blender for adding a little edge to an otherwise autumnal collection.
Extra-Large Abstract Leopard Print Fabric: For when you really want to make a statement. Great for a quilt backing, home decor, or upholstery. (Also available as wallpaper.)
Concentric Diamonds Fabric: A hand-drawn geometric — nested diamond outlines in gold, scattered across a solid ground in each of the five colorways. The most understated print in the collection, and exactly the kind of quiet blender a busier print like the damask or the leopard needs standing next to it.
Large Concentric Diamonds Fabric: Also available in a larger scale, for apparel, quilt backings, & home decor. (Also available in wallpaper.)
Gilded Autumn was always meant to live beyond the sewing machine, too. A few ideas for the home:
A tea towel in burgundy hand-drawn leaves for the kitchen. A throw pillow in dark plum with golden abstract leopard spots for a little jewel-toned drama on the sofa. Curtains in the dark chocolate brown acorn & oak leaf damask, for a room that wants that gold glow all day long. A sheet set in dark forest green with gold concentric diamonds, for the coziest possible bedroom upgrade. A golden acorns on dark brown table runner, to ground a fall tablescape. And napkins with gold block print pumpkins on dark teal fabric.
