It started out as an idea for a Valentine's collection. Artistic and loose. Brushstroke outline hearts. Simple Xs like the kisses from XOXO. Then I started playing with the palette. Modern boho and earthy with a luscious terracotta and gold. Which meant it needed to expand beyond Valentine's to everyday love. I played more in Fresco. Added a herringbone stripe. Some abstract cheetah spots. And finally, the rainbow to tie it all together.
This is Expressive Love. Painterly brushstrokes and a faux linen texture because the best kind of love is freely expressed and comfortably worn. Terracotta and gold for warmth. Green to keep it organic and modern. Teal blue to ground it. Pink and burgundy for a nod to the original Valentine's concept. And some lovely neutrals to round it out. Available as fabric by the yard and fat quarters.
